The Project
The project involves providing a state-of-the-art Media Centre facility for EXPO 2020 equipped with cutting edge technology within an operationally efficient working environment. The fit out scope is 7,700 sqm across ground floor to level 9 of Al Wasl Plaza, Sustainability District including, TV/radio studios, production rooms, master control room, editing suites, green rooms, interview rooms, press briefing rooms, offices and workspace areas, catering area and rooftop lounge. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the project has been delayed and is expected to be completed in October 2020. The broadcast/media team will begin their installations of equipment and cabling in 2021.
