The Project

Spanning 1,300 square meters, the IFS Dubai office was transformed from a shell and core unit into a sophisticated workspace that serves the diverse needs of a modern workforce. The project was driven by an emphasis on balance—merging functionality with aesthetics, collaboration with privacy, and productivity with wellness. The design includes unique features such as high-end acoustics in meeting rooms, ergonomic sit-stand desks, and a cinema/snug room for relaxation and informal gatherings. The layout integrates open-plan workspaces with designated areas for brainstorming, ensuring a seamless flow for both team collaboration and individual focus.

Our Appointment

PMKConsult were appointed as the lead designers, project and commercial managers for this project. Tasked with overseeing every detail, from spatial planning to sustainability initiatives, our role was to ensure that the vision for IFS's Dubai office was fully realized within an ambitious eight-week timeline. Leveraging our extensive experience in managing complex global projects, we coordinated the design, procurement, and installation processes to deliver a high-functioning, aesthetically aligned workspace on time and within budget.

The Benefit

The completed IFS office in Dubai sets a new standard for workplace design, promoting employee wellness, sustainability, and productivity. By including biophilic elements, abundant natural light, a snug room for relaxing and ergonomic workstations, the office fosters an environment that supports mental and physical well-being. The thoughtful integration of sustainable practices- such as reusing existing furniture and high-efficiency appliances supports IFS’s environmental commitment while reducing operational costs.
