The Project

With a total space of 22,500 sqft, Our Space required state-of-the-art technology, a water bar, meeting rooms, skype pods, a signature cafe, spa, underground parking, and a dedicated ladies-only section for both co-working and office spaces to bring its corporate vision of collaborative working environment in the region to life. With nature in mind, the innovation space is complemented with living walls and wood finishes. The aim of the space is to connect three elements: human, habitat, technology. These three pillars have been carefully interwoven to create a co-working environment that is rejuvenating to one’s self, work life, and aspirations.

Our Appointment

Our work was carried out over a period of 16 weeks from concept to completion for this design and build and fit-out project. We handled all elements of the project from the tender management, design and build, and design management in addition to more typical project management. In innovation space work, the design element is a leading focus as much of the programme will be led by meeting an aesthetic objective in the physical space. It is in this type of work that creativity collides with technical capability to deliver one-of-a-kind spaces that meet the client’s vision and expectations.

The Benefit

We carried out our role to an exacting standard, so our client could focus on their ‘day’ job. We managed and coordinated the entire fit-out process as well as ensuring that the project was delivered on time and met all the requirements of the client. A primary part of our role was to ensure that our client’s budget was not exceeding while protecting the niche design appeal of the innovation space. To do this, we played an integral role in identifying suitable design and fit-out contractors, in addition to furniture suppliers and acoustic specialists.
